Principal, Driver To Face Murder Charges Following Death Of A Child Who Was Killed By School Bus

The St.Augustine's principal and four others are today expected to take the plea over the death of a six year old boy who was crashed to death by the institutions bus. The five will face murder charges after the High Court in Mombasa issued summons against them.

On Monday Justice Dora Chepkwony issued summons against the five namely; the school principal, bursar, driver, mechanic and bus conductor.

The summons were issued following an application by the Director of Public Prosecutions.

According to the charge, the accused, with others not before the court, jointly murdered the boy in Sega, Majengo, in Mombasa County.

The six-year-old boy was run over by the back wheels of the bus when he fell down through an opening on its floor.
