Zinedine Zidane is set to have a major overhaul at Real Madrid this summer where he could let up to 14 players leave in a bid to get the club back to winning ways.
The Spanish giants have struggled both domestically and in Europe after they were dumped out of the Champions League in the last 16, while also finishing the season trophyless.
Zidane is hoping to bring in Eden Hazard, Paul Pogba and Luka Jovic to turn the club’s fortunes around but this will mean the end for the likes of Keylor Navas, James Rodriguez and Gareth Bale at the club, according to Marca.
As things stand, 19 players are set to be a part of Zidane’s pre-season plans in the United States on July 8 while several others face uncertainty over their futures.
Navas has been told he won’t be needed for 2019-20 campaign and is free to find a new team, with Andriy Lunin and Luca Zidane set to be named as back-up goalkeepers for Thibaut Courtois.
When it comes to the defence, Jesus Vallejo, Theo Hernandez and Sergio Reguilon are all unlikely to be at the club beyond the summer.
Zidane is keen to bring Lyon full back Ferland Mendy in as competition for Marcelo while Eder Militao will complete his move from Porto once the season has ended.
