The ongoing mass has seen mourners weep bitterly over the unnecessary and brutal death of Monicah.

Monica Kimani requiem mass is underway at Happy Valley grounds in Thika.
The brother, George Thiru was the one who discovered the body. He describe the gory scene.
Upon knocking Monicah’s apartment door severally with no response, they requested permission from landlord to be allowed to break in and permission was granted.
Her body was later discovered in a bath tub hands and legs tied with a white cable with her phone laying right beside her.
According to George who witnessed her body, her throat had been slit and beneath her was a knife that they suspect was used by the murderer.
He also witnessed that Monica’s body did not have garments on the lower part apart of her torso and her pantie was torn on one side.
An indication that she may have been murdered.
Jacque Maribe’s fiance is in police custody as the prime suspect over the murder.
Various mourners expressed their sadness and mirth at the mass. One mourner was overcome, he fell down in a fit of tears.
