A woman in the process of labor and giving birth would rather keep this moment private rather than share with the world.
But a nurse in Malawi didn't think so.
A midwife at a health centre in the country was swiftly suspended after posting a selfie in the labour ward where a women was giving birth.
The nurse has been identified as Patricia Malichi from Ndirande Health Centre.
The regions Director of Health Service Dr. Gift Kawaladzi in an interview with a Malawi radio station confirmed the incident saying
“We have suspended her pending further review of the case by Nurses and Midwifery Council of Malawi,”
