Socket, Mursik And Other Hilarious Symbols Independent Governors Will Be Using During Elections

Early this month Politicians who are seeking to have a stub at elective roles in the country as independent candidates were the talk of town.

This is after they treated Kenyans to comical moments with their choice of unique party symbols, which would represent them on the ballot paper come August, 8th elections.

With a deadline to beat, they did not have much time to come up with creative symbols and they had to settle for uncanny symbols, which included; a pack of toothpicks, flash disks, charcoal iron boxes, scissors and even trees!

So on Saturday morning, Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission released a final list of candidates who were cleared to run as independent candidates for the gubernatorial seats across the nation, totalling to 63 candidates.

If you thought the photos we shared of the symbols these candidates used were hilarious, then you have not seen anything at all.

One Omoro Daniel Odhiambo who is vying from Siaya settled for a broom while Samwel Nyachaya Nyama will be using a socket, yes a socket to switch to switch on his political ambitions.

Other hilarious symbols include; Chicken with eggs, tilted table, Four finger salute, battery as well as a termite.

Check out the symbols below.
