Lawrence Lual Malong Yor Jr is the stepson of Paul Malong, who is a South Sudanese politician and military figure. He has formerly served as governor of Northern Bahr el Ghazal from 27 March 2008 to 2014.
Lawrence Lual Malong, the South Sudanese playboy is known for his extravagant lifestyle. He loves to show off the private jets, luxury hotels, that he is used to.
The 29-year-old rich kid, has a reason for showing off saying:
Facebook posts of him living the life of luxury were designed to ‘encourage’ fellow young South Sudanese to eschew violence and aim higher.
He was also seen on a video on social media last year flaunting a million dollars that he said would be donated to a church in Nairobi West. After that he left to Uganda where it is alleged he was arrested by authorities.
He has suddenly appeared on social media to explain why he thinks he was arrested. Read below
