Stanley Okumbi Insists Harambee Stars Played Better Against Sudan

Harambee stars coach Stanley Okumbi says, despite drawing with lowly Sudan who are ranked 12 places behind Kenya in the FIFA rankings at position 128, they had a better game compared to their friendly against Tanzania on Sunday that ended with the same scoreline.

Okumbi, who is yet to register a win in four matches since taking charge in March, also says the second string team that played showed a lot of improvement, and expects a win against Congo in this weekend's AFCON 2017 qualifier.

Harambee Stars settled for a one all draw with Sudan in a friendly match played at Kasarani Stadium.

Nazar Hamid gave Sudan a first half lead before Stars leveled through Brain Mandela at Stoppage time.
