Afya Njema: Mboga hupunguza athari ya Kansa, Mshtuko wa moyo

Magonjwa hatari kama vile kansa na ugonjwa wa kisukari yanachangiwa na lishe duni.

Hivyo basi, kuna umihimu wa kuhamasisha Wakenya kuhusu vyakula vya asili ambavyo havina  madhara mengi katika afya ya binadamu.

Ulaji  mboga kwa wingi husaidia kupunguza maradhi ya kansa, ugonjwa wa kisukari na ugonjwa wa mshtuko  wa moyo.

Kila mwaka Oktoba 16, ni siku ya Vyakula ulimwenguni na kauli mbiu wa mwaka huu ni kuzingatia vyakula vya kiasili ambavyo vilikuzwa na babu zetu.

Vyakula hivi vya kiasili vimesekana kuwa muhimu sana katika maisha ya bindamu kwa kuwa vinakuzwa katika hali mazingira asili pasi na kemikali nyingi .

Kumekuwa na athari ya ukosefu wa chakula kutokana na kupuuzwa kwa vyakula asili na kutegemea vyakula vinavyokuzwa katika mazingira yenye kemikali nyingi.

#NoshaveNovember: Creating cancer awareness

No-Shave November is a month-long journey during which participants forgo shaving and grooming in order to evoke conversation and raise cancer awareness.

People from all over the world celebrate this month as they remember cancer patients and the hair loss they go through due to treatment hence use the money that people use for shaving for a good cause like donations.

It works with the following organizations Fight Colo rectal Cancer, Prevent Cancer Foundation and St.Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
