Bongo singer Ali Kiba and his wife exchanged vows Thursday last week in Mombasa.

Their Kenya wedding stunned and impressed their fans who wanted to lay their eyes on the Kenyan beauty who had stolen his heart.

All along, a few photos of her have leaked. We only officially saw her on the wedding day, all covered up and with lots of make-up.

Such as this one;

Omar to break his month-long silence after loss

Former Mombasa Senator Hassan Omar will break his silence on Thursday after losing to Governor Hassan Joho last month.

A member of his secretariat team, who sought anonymity, said Omar will brief the nation.

“He will brief the nation that he has petitioned against Joho’s win,” the member said.

He said Omar has received “strong, enough and compelling” evidence.

The former senator’s case was embolden by the Supreme Court’s ruling.

He got 43,787 votes against Joho’s 221,177. “You will be surprised, there is a lot of substance in his evidence,” the insider said.

The Wiper secretary general went mum from August 8 after voting.

On Friday, he made his first public appearance at Ronald Ngala Grounds, Mombasa, when he joined Muslims to pray and celebrate Idd-ul-Adha.

There have been murmurs surrounding his silence, with some voters asking him to concede.

“You could not expect him to concede immediately. You definitely take time to ponder on the information that you have been given and scrutinise the results that were given to you,” the insider said.

Nyali MP Hezron Awiti has started strategising for 2022. He was also in the race for Mombasa governor. Awiti garnered 4,709 votes.

Omar’s team believed he won in Changamwe, Mvita, Likoni and partly in Jomvu and Kisauni.

“If he [Omar] had few votes, he would have actually conceded, but with the conviction that it was a stolen victory, that is why he is petitioning,” the source said.

During Friday prayers, Omar who was in a pensive mood, sat side-by-side with Mvita MP Abdulswamad Nassir of ODM.

On his Facebook page Omar wrote, “The Supreme Court petition judgment will set a new bar in electioneering and petitions. Many more elections will be nullified.”

From August 6-31, he only re-tweeted posts from Prof Makau Mutua, activist Boniface Mwangi, former Senator Billow Kerrow, Nyali MP Mohamed Ali and former Raila Odinga chief campaigner Eliud Owalo.

Mombasa governor poll loser Suleiman Shahbal has also not conceded.

He got 69,515 votes.

Sio Simba Ni Sultan: Fisilets Fall All Over Themselves After Seeing Hassan Joho’s Sh33.5m Machine

He is the king of ‘Team Beard’. Christened by many as the Sultan of Pwani and by adoring female fans as the lord of their hearts.

I’m talking about Mombasa Governor Hassan Joho. 001 mwenyewe.

Joho has grabbed the headlines again after unveiling his new ride.

Joho has charmed many with his swag and his well kept beard.

Hassan Joho’s Bodyguard Shot During Chaotic ODM Rally In Migori

Fisilets have fallen over themselves after Joho posted a photo of himself and Taufiq Balala, the new County Executive Member in charge of Transport and Infrastructure in what looks like Dubai.

In the photo the most conspicuous item is a shinny black Bentley. I’m told it is a Bentley Bentayga Diesel.

According to Car Advice, “Superlatives abound with the 2017 Bentley Bentayga Diesel. It’s not only the first diesel for the prestige brand, but is the fastest diesel SUV in the world. It’s also quite practical.”

Guys, this car is actually a big deal.

The site goes on to review the sleek ride saying it marks the first time Bentley has offered a diesel engine in its 98-year history.

Priced from $335,000 (Ksh 33.5m) – before options and on-road costs – the Bentayga Diesel may undercut its petrol-gulping W12 stablemate by almost $100,000 (Ksh 10m), but unless you were told which was which, you would be hard-pressed to tell them apart.

The diesel has a different grille, in black, as well as a pair of unique, figure-eight style tailpipes. A standard car features a ‘V8 Diesel’ badge on the lower door flank, but this can be quite sensibly traded for a pair of Union Jack numbers for just $1299 extra.

REVOLUTIONIZED CAMPAIGN? Underwears, Boxers Surface Online Bearing Hassan Joho’s Name

It shares the same footprint as the W12 (5140mm long by 1998mm wide), and despite having four fewer cylinders, actually weighs 70kg more.

Only the best for 001.

To top it all up, the car has Dubai plates followed by Joho’s preferred number plate for all his vehicles, 001.

Check out the ride.

Here are some reactions from fisilets.

fiona_mish: My Mweshimiwa só proud of you.

fatma_kiraga: Welcome to Dubai mh001 uskizie summer kama sisi.

karenlema82: Kazi njema.

‘Joho Is Blocking My Bid For Nyali ODM Ticket’ – Jicho Pevu’s Mohammed Ali

Mombasa Governor Hassan Joho has stamped his authority to make sure I do not get the ODM ticket, former KTN journalist Mohammed Ali has claimed.

“@AliHassanJoho, I will meet your brother on August 8th. I would rather win or lose with honour,” Mohammed said via Twitter on Saturday.

Mohammed is competing with Joho’s cousin, Said Salim alias Saido, for the Nyali ODM ticket.

The ‘Jicho Pevu’ journalist who garnered 2,873 votes lost to Salim who got 3,672 votes in nominations carried out last week.

On Wednesday, the ODM tribunal recommended to the National Elections Board to repeat Nyali MP nominations.

This followed a petition by Mohammed who was announced loser in the primaries.

He filed a complaint against Said Salim on grounds that the exercise was marred by irregularities.

Last week, Mohammed claimed that Joho – who was seen during the voting exercise – paid voters to support his cousin Salim.

“The entire Joho family were walking around making sure they are paying off voters to vote against me. I have video evidence and picture evidence,” he said.

Hassan Joho’s Bodyguard Shot During Chaotic ODM Rally In Migori

Mombasa Governor Hassan Joho’s bodyguard was shot and injured by one attached to Migori’s Okoth Obado during a chaotic ODM rally on Monday, an MP has said.

Obado made good his threat to prevent ODM from holding a rally in Migori town.

The rally at Posta grounds was completely disrupted when he arrived unannounced as Kisumu Senator Anyang’ Nyong’o addressed the crowd.

Immediately after seeing him, the crowd booed and threw water bottles, stones and shoes at the podium.

This forced Obado’s guards to fire in the air. A bullet went through a VIP seat in an area where dignitaries were seated.

The seat had blood stains but it was not clear which official was shot.

Mvita MP Abdulswamad Nassir told the Star: “This was an assassination attempt. They were after Joho. Our car was shot at three times.”

Joho’s rallies have either been cancelled or ended in chaos. Police have given reasons including lack of approval and their inability to provide security.

The Governor was in the county to officially launch ODM office with fellow ODM deputy leader Wycliffe Oparanya (Kakamega).

A group earlier demonstrated against Obado after ODM organisers were locked out of Migori county stadium.

Trouble began on Sunday night when an unknown arsonist threw a petrol bomb at ODM’s new Migori county office ahead of its official launch on Monday.

Hassan Joho has accused trained security officials of attempting to assassinate ODM leaders in Migori town on Monday.

Joho’s bodyguard was shot and injured by one attached to Migori’s Okoth Obado during a chaotic ODM rally.

Obado reportedly made good his threat to prevent ODM from holding a rally in Migori town.

The rally at Posta grounds was disrupted when the MP arrived unannounced as Kisumu Senator Anyang’ Nyong’o addressed the crowd.

Mvita MP Abdulswamad Nassir told the Star: “This was an assassination attempt. They were after Joho. Our car was shot at three times.”

In a statement, Joho said the alleged assassination had been conducted by experts who wanted to harm the leaders.

“Earlier today, together with my delegation, we came under a brutal attack in Migori town by people we have reason to believe were trained security officers in civilian attires,” he said in a statement.

The Mombasa county boss confirmed that one bodyguard had been shot and wounded in the leg, and called for speedy investigations into the incident.

“Only thorough investigations and bringing of perpetrators to justice will save the situation.” Joho said.
