In June during the 44th edition of the COPA America, Chilean defender Gonzalo Jara grabbed the headlines for all the wrong reasons following a bizarre incident in which he stuck his finger in the backside of Uruguayan striker Edinson during their quarterfinal encounter.

The incident took the gloss out of Chile's subsequent victory in the match as Jara was not only criticized for that incident but also for faking injury to get Cavani sent off after he retaliated to him sticking his finger into his backside.

It was not the first time that Jara was on the spot for such behaviour and following how the incident involving Cavani was widely condemned, it was unlikely at the time that another player, or Jara for that matter, would commit a similar offence.

Well, as they say, humans are forgetful beings and it is not many of them who learn from past transgressions or the mistakes of others.

In Tanzania, football stakeholders are calling on the Tanzanian Football Federation (TFF) to punish Mbeya City captain and defender Juma Nyosso after he stuck his finger in the backside of Azam forward John Bocco.

Nyosso did that during their league encounter on Sunday which Azam, the homeside, won 2-1.

If that punishment was anything to go by, it seems that Nyosso faces a long time on the sidelines and if any reference can be made to Jara's incident, his club could also punish him.
