1.Sierra Leone
Sierra Leone took the lead as its citizens claim that one has to bribe people in power for them to obtain favour and also be served by the government officials. It is disheartening seeing that the people appointed by the people are still the same once you have to pay up for services to be rendered.
2.Liberia
Liberian citizens also stated the same issue, that one has to bribe a government personnel in order to have your way around.
However, the people stated that the country's Judiciary is even more corrupt, together with the parliament and the police, that justice is not served as its due .
3.Kenya
Kenya was ranked third in the list, as its leaders were found being involved in graft and embezzling public funds. However, the President started fighting the vice itself stating that as well is a legacy he will leave behind after his tenure.
Government personnel have been seen being arrested and anyone involved in corruption being arrested which might make Kenya stop being top three in the most corrupt African countries.
4.Libya
It was found that to get good services one had to pay bribe. Another thing was that journalist freedom to report freely was als denied to them. This became a problem since the citizens problems couldn't be well aired .
5.Zimbabwe
The people of Zimbabwe said that there government was corrupt which lead to the rise of poverty and hardship. However , after Mugabe's reign they believe maybe a change might be seen.
6. Mozambique
Even though almost every nation has a problem with its police service, citizens of Mozambique complained that the ministry of Education was equally corrupt.
Funds and admission to schools was the main issue.A report done stated that citizens have the capability to help fight the menace.
7. Cameroon
The citizens felt that the judiciary, schools were deeply rooted in corruption. A number of its people felt that graft increased while a certain number felt that it decreased.
8.Angola
In the past 10 years it is said that the country has lost almost 5 billion dollars, as most of its government officials are said to be enriching themselves with public funds . It is also among the countries in the list of the world's most corrupt countries.
9.Equatorial Guinea
Even though the country was said to be one of the most wealthiest in the world, corruption has had its way as well. With its citizens surviving with $1 dollar per day.
10.Uganda
The country has also had its share in corruption as a certain amount of money cannot be accounted for every year. Certain government personnel have also been seen being involved in certain scandals but no justice is served.
The president however, has been seen a number of times trying to fight it.
