Police are looking for a gang that raided the Nairobi home of politician Orie Rogo Manduli and killed her two dogs in attempt to steal.
The gang tried to get into her Karen home but were detected by the dogs before they poisoned them.
A guard on duty also heard the commotion and raised alarm before they escaped on foot. Nothing was stolen from the compound.
Police say they are investigating the incident.
