This is the University where students have to scramble for seats at 4am

Dear Kenyan University students, count yourself among the lucky few in Africa.

Photos of a University where students have to run to class at 4am to book a seat have emerged online.

A twitter user by the name Farida Nabourema, who at one time attended the same university shared the horrifying pictures that will make Kenyan campus students appreciate their status.

Farida captioned the pictures with the following words:

"It pains me to see that a decade after some of us left the University of Lome, things have not changed. Going to school at 4 for a lecture starting at 7 am just so you can find a spot to seat. A 15,000 capacity university is now home to 40,000 students".

Horrified social media users reacted to the photos with the following comments

shaka francis‏ ..I can say..here in Kenya we are far much better. Big halls, Big cafes , nice hostels, good wifi connections, cool environments..etc. all these are as a result of of Students and lecturers strikes. Strikes is the better language for a Mocking Government

Jim Nkurunziza‏ ..Greed. Most third world country universities are so greedy they always admit more students than they can accommodate. Thank God we made it through the hostile conditions.

Nomvula Mhayise‏ ..This is heartbreaking . What will it take for some African leaders to invest in their own countries instead of stealing country’s resources for their families?!!!

It is a shame. Sad

AKOTCHOLO Akpénè‏ ...At 4? It’s not sure you get a seat ´cause people are there already from 2. And there is always fight every morning about seat

Stella Mwangi..Look at that guy a top the bicycle taking notes ..Not right!
