Lionel Messi scored yet another hat-trick on Sunday, this time away from home against Real Betis.
While he's used to receiving heaps of praise from Barcelona fans at the Bernabeu, he even got an ovation from the Real Betis crowd for his achievements.
He's done a lot in his career, but even Messi was the first to admit he had never experienced anything quite like it.
'I cannot remember anything like this before and I'm very grateful for the fans' reaction. I'm very grateful to them and happy for the victory, which was very important,' Messi told reporters.
'We were playing against a team that treats the ball very well but the coach read the game perfectly from a tactical point of view.'
Messi's three goals helped Barcelona to a 4-1 victory over Real Betis, increasing their huge gap at the top of La Liga.
