Tottenham Hotspur have proved that they sure are a force to reckon with in English football, with the side sitting just four points below league leaders Chelsea, with just four games to go.

After slipping towards the end of last season when Spurs looked like the only side that would prevent Leicester City from winning their first ever English Premier League title, Mauricio Pochettino's men remain the only side able to snatch the title off Chelsea's hands should they slip.

The teams home form has been incredible, which has seen them register 16 wins in 18 matches having not tasted defeat in their last season at their home ground, before moving to a new stadium.

Kenyan international Victor Wanyama has been viewed by many as the engine that keeps the team ticking in midfield with match winning performances, since he signed for the North London side from Southampton.

The midfield mainstay believes that his side is well equipped to not just finish in the top four but fight for the title till the tail end.

"The remaining games are very tough, West Ham they are a good side so it will be a big task but hopefully we can work as we have been working and then at the end we an get maximum points." Said Wanyama.

He attributed his form and team's mentality to their manager, Mauricio Pochettino whom they view as a father figure.

"He is always thinking how he can improve the players and every game you learn something. Not only in football matters but also in life you know he makes people stay on their feet and he also gives you advice in life, so he is a great man to have he is a great manager to have him here, he is like our father here." Added Wanyama.
