Two Suspected Thugs Alleged To Be Linked With 'Gaza' Group Killed In Kayole

Two suspected thugs were last night shot dead by police in a botched robbery in Kayole, Nairobi.

The suspects are said to be members of a proscribed group Gaza and had been attacking and robbing residents when police were alerted. The gang has been terrorizing residents for long robbing them of their valuables.

The gang is among about ten others that are on the lose in the city attacking and robbing residents. The bodies were taken to the mortuary.

Still in Nairobi, a policeman has been stabbed and seriously wounded as he fought off thugs who were robbing pedestrians in Kiamaiko area, Huruma, Nairobi.

The man who stabbed the officer was shot and killed by the officer’s colleagues in the 5am incident. Police say a gang had been attacking and robbing residents when an alarm was raised and when a group of officers intervened, the gang turned violent and attacked one of them. The injured officer is in hospital in a serious condition.

Meanwhile, Police are looking for a gang that stabbed and killed a man in Mlango Kubwa area, Nairobi. The gang had been on a robbing spree when it confronted the deceased.

Police say the deceased resisted the robbery prompting the fatal stabbing. Another man was injured in the incident. Police believe the attackers are members of a gang that is on the lose in the area but a hunt on them is ongoing.
