VIDEO: If You Must Get Down Use A Condom! Massawe Japanni Tackles Deadbeat Dads

We all know that any man can be a father but it takes a real man to be a dad. After all is said and done the number of 'undone' businesses, in this context fathers who run away from their responsibilities AKA deadbeat dads after siring children, is overwhelming.

On Radio Jambo's popular Bustani la MJ mid morning show which is hosted by the beautiful Massawe Japanni, such cases are the order of the order with a huge number of distraught women calling in, to complain about their estranged husbands who go from snails to cheetahs the moment they impregnate their wives/girlfriends.

According to Mrs. Japanni, she is tired of these disgusting acts which don't seem to fade away despite vast parenting awareness. In fact she terms these as a criminal offence which equally translates to 'disrespecting the innocent'  who didn't choose to be brought into this world where he or she will end up suffering, all thanks to a runaway dad.

"Kids are blessings to us they are innocent, they were brought into this world to be protected to be loved and be brought up with great values," says Japanni, adding, "It pains me when a dad turns into a deadbeat! As a man you are where you are because someone sacrificed their time took care of you and loved you unconditionally."

She is grateful that organizations like FIDA and children organizations have helped the affected women and children through her informative show which airs every day from 10AM to 2PM.

However, the mother of three, urges deadbeat dads to at least step up and offer their children the basic but essential needs most of all being education and let the loving mum worry about the child's upkeep, clothing, food and shelter.

"If you must get down get down with a condom, by the way if you do not want a child just know how to do it, where to do it and don't go impregnating women before running away from your responsibilities!" she said on air.

Passionate about parenthood and well upbringing of children all over, Japanni believes "I was trapped" is a tired line, a cliche which every men have been using since time memorial as an escape route after enjoying and partaking of the pleasures of Kandahar.

"Trapping is a tired line, come on! deadbeats need to find a new line already, how are you trapped? Just be a responsible adult if you want to delve into anything be responsible. If you don't want to get children you will protect yourself."

She was also not sparing the irresponsible women who are blinded by love without taking the right steps into ensuring they practice family planning, before blaming same men once everything goes south.
