Former England defender and captain Rio Ferdinand may no longer be a Manchester United player, or a footballer for that matter, but he is still a Red Devil at heart.

Rio, who today marked 13 years since he joined Manchester United from Leeds United in a 30-million pound transfer that made him the most expensive British defender, is still vocal of his support for Manchester United and today he shared a video on his instagram page urging David De Gea to stay at Manchester United.

The Spanish goalkeeper has stalled on signing a new contract at the Old Trafford club with speculation rife that he wants to join Real Madrid. However, like any other Manchester United fans, Rio is having none of that and made the following video to urge his former teammate to remain at the club.

The video is part of a series of clips titled #FerdysFootyRumours in which he mimics Harry Redknapp's style of giving interviews as he talked about Chelsea's interest in Everton's John Stones as well as transfer speculations surrounding Karim Benzema, Pedro and Thomas Muller.
