Harambee Starlets yesterday beat Uganda one nil in the first leg of the Africa women’s cup of Nations qualifiers played at Kenyatta Stadium in Machakos.
After a goalless draw in the first half, Lillian Adera scored Starlets lone goal in 54th minute from 40-yards out as Uganda continued with their search for first win over the National team.
The return leg will be played this weekend with the winner facing Equatorial Guinea in the final round of qualifiers. The tournament will be held in Ghana later this year.
