Wanyama to become only the second Kenyan to play in Champions League final

Hraambee Stars skipper, Victor Wanyama is set to become only the second Kenyan to feature at the Champions League final, following in his brother, McDonald Mariga's footsteps.

Mariga became the first Kenyan to not only play in a Champions League final but actually winning the trophy back in 2010 under coach Jose Mourinho.

Wanyama's Tottenham will be playing in an all English final against Liverpool on June 1st after they came from behind to beat Ajax Amsterdam, 3-2 on Wednesday night.

It took Lucas Moura's dramatic 96th-minute winner to cap an astonishing Tottenham fightback as Spurs won 3-2 to progress three all on aggregate and set up an all-English Champions League final against Liverpool.

Trailing two nil at the break, Spurs turned around the match in the second half thanks to Moura's heroics.

He reduced the deficit with a composed finish before the Brazilian's shot on the turn leveled the scores on the night and left Spurs requiring one goal to reach the final in Madrid.

Moura completed his hat-trick with a finish from 16 yards deep into stoppage time on a famous night for Spurs.

After achieving the historic fete, Wanyama took to social media to thank God with a picture of himself and Hat-trick Hero, Lucas Moura pointing to the skies.
