We are being cyber bullied and terrorised badly, MPs Wamalwa and Duale cried

Details of woman terrorising male MPs has hit the headlines.

Male legislators on Tuesday revealed disturbing details of how they were being terrorised by an unknown woman.

During the parliament session, Majority Leader Aden Duale opened up and revealed that a woman had been sending nude photos to all male MPs in the house.

Duale further mentioned that the woman had numbers of all male legislators from both the 11th and 12th parliament.

"There is a lady who has the phone numbers of all the MPs and keeps sending us nude photos,” said Duale.

His claims were backed by Minority Leader Junet Mohamed, Kiminini MP Chris Wamalwa and all other male MPs who nodded in agreement.

Even Eugene Wamalwa added,

"This matter is serious, as it has broken many families and must be brought to an end,” Mr Wamalwa lamented.

Minority Leader Junet Mohamed said that male MPs faced cyber-bullying even more than their female counterparts.

“I have received some photos on my phone that you cannot see with your naked eyes. ‘The pictures are so dangerous that you only pray they should not come when you are with your family or when your child gets your phone," he said.

“Sometimes you are on suspicion watch in the House and when those photos pop up, it becomes difficult to deal with. The biggest problem we face nowadays is cyber-crime. We have been bullied, seduced and the careers of some politicians have ended due to cyber-bullying.”

Speaker Justin Muturi stated that the matter was very serious and summoned the Inspector-General Police Joseph Boinnet and Director of Criminal Investigations George Kinoti to explain what they were doing to curb the menace.

“This matter is very serious and cannot be taken lightly and the Committee of National Administration and Security should deal with it," Speaker Justin Muturi said.
