Meet DP William Ruto's pilot, Captain Mario Magonga (Photos)

Kenyans have woken up to the sad news of the demise of Deputy President William Ruto's official pilot Captain Mario Magonga.

The captain together with four American citizens died in a plane crash in Lake Turkana, Turkana County last evening.

The four died after a chopper they were flying in crashed in Lake Turkana Central Island.

The passengers are believed to be tourists and had visited Lobolo Tented camp on the island’s national park. The bodies are expected at Wilson airport later today.

Here are some reactions by Kenyan on Twitter.

Wayne Brian tweeted, "It's really SAD that people are politicising Captain Mario Magonga's death. It could have been an accident we can't just drag everything to politics. My sincere condolences to the captain's family."

Another one, @fast_kale added, "Captain Mario Magonga! Its just plain sad! What happened to empathy and sympathy.....I feel for your family. Fly with the angels."
