'You've been unmasked' Narok leaders tell Raila over fake gold scam

A section of leaders have asked the Orange Democratic Movement party leader Raila Odinga to own up being part of the fake gold syndicate.

They said there was compelling evidence that the opposition chief participated in the alleged gold crime.

Speaking in Narok East constituency on Saturday where Deputy President William Ruto launched various development projects, the leaders said it was time the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) recorded statement from Mr Odinga over the scam.

“Let us serve Kenyans diligently. We are past giving empty stories which cannot change Kenya,” he said.

On his part, Governor Tunai asked leaders to unite and embrace the politics that is founded on bettering the lives of Kenyans.

Mr Aramat said the development pace set by President Uhuru Kenyatta called for an energetic and focused leader like Dr Ruto.

“We want more homes connected to power. We would want to see more Kenyans access clean drinking water, affordable housing, and ample food. This can only be done by development-conscious leader like the Deputy President,” he said.

Mwala MP asked Kenyans to rally behind Dr Ruto in 2022 when he seeks Kenya’s top political seat.

“He has shown his hunger to transform this country. He has the energy and the will that is much needed,” he added.
