CORD Leader Raila Odinga said on Sunday that he will not record a statement with police over allegations of helping procure false ICC witnesses to frame Deputy President William Ruto.

“Raila does not intend to indulge the idle curiosity of investigative agencies by recording a statement," the CORD leader said through his legal adviser Paul Mwangi.

He emphasised that Gatundu South MP Moses Kuria "should be charged on his own confession of crimes against the International Crimes Act".

Last week, DPP Keriako Tobiko ordered police to question Raila, Narc-Kenya Leader Martha Karua, Kisumu Senator Anyang' Nyong'o and Kuria following the confession by the controversial Gatundu lawmaker that he procured witnesses and identified others he said were involved.
