BUNGOMA: Security Guard Kills Wife Lover After Finding Them In Bed Together

A security guard who killed his wife's lover on Sunday night after allegedly finding them in bed has been arrested.

The guard, 27-year-old Samson Malesi, hails from Khaveli Village in Bungoma South constituency and he works at a security firm in Nairobi.

Witnesses said Malesi found his wife in bed with her lover, 37-year-old Simon Wafula, after relatives and neighbours tipped him of an ongoing affair.

Wafula who is from the neighboring Tembelea Village, was stabbed several times in the stomach and also had a nail drove in his headby an angry Malesi.

The victim's wife of eight years said that her husband had left home to attend a funeral in the neighboring village on Sunday night.

"We were shocked to receive the news that my husband, whom we have five children with, had been killed after being found with another man’s wife,’’ Beatrice Naliaka said.

Bungoma South police boss said the father of four will be charged with murder as soon as investigations are complete.

Malesi's wife has since gone missing.
