The program for the Pope's visit to Kenya has been revealed.

Pope Francis is expected to land at the JKIA on Wednesday 25th November at 1700h.

After landing he will head to State House where he will be hosted for a welcome ceremony by the Head of State, President Uhuru Kenyatta. The welcoming ceremony has been scheduled to begin at 1800h.

The Pope will conclude the first day of his maiden papal visit to Africa by having a meeting with Kenyan authorities and diplomats at State House.

His second day is going to be understandably busy and he will start his day at 0815h with an Inter-religious and ecumenical meeting at the Apostolic Nunciature in Nairobi.

This will be followed by a public mass at the University of Nairobi which will begin at 1000h.

After that, Pope Francis will have a meeting with the clergy and seminarians at the St. Mary's School grounds in Nairobi. This meeting will commence at 1545h.

At 1730h, Pope Francis will be at the UNEP headquarters in Gigiri and that will mark the end of his activities on his second day in the country.

Pope Francis will begin his third day at 0830h with a visit to Kangemi Slums before having a meeting with Kenyan youth at Kasarani from 1000h.

At 1115h he will meet with Kenyan bishops at the Kasarani Stadium lounge.

A farewell ceremony will be hosted in his honor at the JKIA starting 1510h before he leaves for Uganda at 1530h.
