Seven former judiciary officials have been charged with abuse of office in relation to the construction of Mavoko law courts at a cost of 150 million shillings. The judiciary officials pleaded not guilty and were released on a cash bail of 300,000 each or a bond of 1 million.

Meanwhile, former registrar of the judiciary Gladys Shollei, who is among the seven charged, will take her plea on January 12th as she’s reportedly out of the country.
