CORD Suspends Demonstrations For Dialogue

CORD says they have given the government until the 5th of June to initiate talks or else they will be back on the streets. The Coalition suspended its weekly anti-IEBC demos yesterday to give dialogue a chance. 

The coalition is engaging civil society groups, diplomats and professionals to help address the current impasse over IEBC. Senators Johnstone Muthama and James Orengo say they want to involve all stakeholders to push for reforms supporting free and fair elections.
