GSU Officer Kills His Senior In Boni Forest

A General Service Unit officer based in Boni forest, Basuba base in Lamu was last night killed by a colleague, after an alleged disagreement.  The junior officer shot his senior, a Sergeant.

The constable has been disarmed and arrested pending investigation.

The body of the slain senior officer has been airlifted to Nairobi as police launch investigations into the incident.

Earlier reports claim that the officer was killed in a case of mistaken identity by the colleague after he failed to respond to a security challenge when ordered to.
