'Sad Day For Kenyan Soccer' - Arocho Mourns Former Gor Mahia Defender, Jerry Mupe
Radio Jambo's seasoned presenter cum football commentator, Fred Arocho and the entire Kenyan football fraternity are mourning the death of former Gor Mahia defender, Jerry Mupe.
Jerry Mupe was among two other passengers killed in a grisly road accident on Sunday morning near the Gilgil weighbridge, when they were travelling back to Nairobi after attending former Gor Mahia and Harambee Stars defender, Charles Handa's funeral in Western Kenya.

Four people traveling back from attending former Mahia defender Charles Handa's funeral lost their lives in a terrible road accident along Nakuru -Nairobi highway early morning today. The only survivor in the vehicle (Ziwani MCA) is currently at St Mary's hospital ICU awaiting to be Airlifted to Nairobi for more medical attention courtesy of Starehe Mp Maina Kamanda...

During the morning accident near the Gilgil weighbridge, three people including Millicent Mugadi who said to be a political leader in Nairobi were seriously injured and admitted at a private hospital.
The personal car which was heading to Nairobi from Nakuru was overtaking a fleet of vehicles when it rammed head on into the incoming trailer.
The accident caused a major traffic snarl-up on the busy road as police and members of the public moved in to rescue the injured passengers.
