Winnie Chepkoech was admitted in Nairobi Women 's Hospital with burnt injuries on her face, head, chest and stomach.
Ms Chepkoech who stay in Bondeni slum estate outskirts of Nakuru town, her husband allegedly accused her of having love affair with man she had gone to drink alcohol with.
The victim's mother Agnes Bosuu, said her daughter had quarreled the other day forcing Chepkoech to spend a night at a friend's house.
She had gone to collect her clothes when her husband attacked her and burnt her .
However, Nakuru OCPD Joshua Omukata said the case had not been reported but promised to take action with immediate effect.
