Two Suspected Thugs Gunned Down In Separate Botched Robberies

Two suspected thugs were killed in two separate incidents in Kayole area, Nairobi and weapons found on them in the war on armed crime. The first incident happened this morning in the area where one suspect was killed in a botched robbery incident.

Police say a gang of four had been attacking and robbing residents of their valuables and cash. Police were alerted and rushed there and shot dead one suspect. The other accomplices managed to escape on foot.

Another suspect had been killed in Saika area in similar circumstances last night and a pistol loaded with four bullets found on him. Police said the suspects were waylaying and robbing pedestrians when an alert was raised alerting officers on patrol. An accomplice managed to escape on foot and police say they are looking for him. Police have intensified patrols in the city to tame rising cases of violent robberies.
