Nandi Governor Sang Orders Hiring Of New Nurses On Contract To Replace Those On Strike

Governor for Nandi Stephen Sang says striking nurses in the county should consider themselves sacked and that the county would hire new nurses on contract terms to replace those who deserted duty.

Sang says the nurses deserted duty over a delayed CBA agreement but their demands are unrealistic and unsustainable hence the decision to sack those who have been going on with the illegal strike.

The governor says the county will take other measures to restructure the health sector in the region in order to improve healthcare.
