Court orders police to reveal the cause of the Mwiki conductor's death

A Mwiki Sacco Limited conductor died last week after being beaten up by his colleagues due to overcharging passengers.The Court has ordered investigations to take place swiftly.

Julius Kamau Mburu had charged customers 100 bob, 20 shillings more than the usual. When that information got to the Sacco officers ,on arrival, they beat up Julius into a bad state.the body is now lying in Kiambu Level Four Hospital mortuary.

Wife to the deceased later said Julius died from the hospital.She explained that Julius told her that she charged the passengers 100 shillings to get them to Mwiki instead of leaving them at a stage called Stima area.Investigations were launched as two men who were associated with his death are in custody as they were arrested after presenting themselves at the Central police station when they learnt that they were being sorted.

The two, John Kibe Nyagha and Geoffrey Ngamau Wambui,Mwiki Sacco Limited Matatu Attendants were the two men Linked to the death of Mburu.

According to Citizen digital, they were presented before Senior Resident Magistrate Miriam Mugure and police wanted to detain them for 7 days as they carried out investigations but the magistrate granted them two days and reveal what caused the death of Mburu.
