The over 60,000 fans had a day to remember after witnessing a suberb performance from the boys as they hammered the neighbors 3-0 courtesy of Victor Wanyama, Michael Olunga and Johanna goals.

After the historic turn out, we take a look at four other times Kenyans filled the stadium.

On Sunday 13/5/2018 history was made after 60,000 passionate football fans filled Kasarani stadium to Capacity during the much awaited Gor Mahia vs Hull City match, making it the first time the stadium was that full since the 1997 Clash between Harambee Stars and Super Eagles of Nigeria.

The sportpesa-sponsored match saw Hull City grab an away win courtesy of a 4-3 win on post match penalties after an enthralling 0-0 draw after regular time.

Before the showdown, do you know the Kasarani Stadium has been filled to capacity a couple of time before in recent history? Comedian, Eric Omondi had organized a comedy show with an aim of filling up the stadium which did not attract enough people, apparently, less than 5,000 people showed up.

Can you remember any such time? If not let us jog your memory.

Thousands of Kenyans from all walks of life braved the chilly Nairobi weather as they made their way to Kasarani stadium to witness the inauguration of President Uhuru Kenyatta as Kenya's fourth president following a hotly contested election between him and Rt. Honorable Raila Odinga.

The over 60,000 jubilated Kenyans who filled the stadium were joined in celebrations by several heads of state and other high-ranking dignitaries.

The 18th edition of the Safaricom Sevens which took place in September 2013, saw rugby fans turn up in large numbers recording the highest turn out of the annual competition after filling the Kasarani stadium to the brim.

Do you think we have left out any event (sporting or non-sporting) that saw thousands of Kenyans fill up the stadium?
