Kenyans walked to work this morning as the CBD ban took effect.

Photos of stranded Nairobi residents shocked all of us, as it dawned on us that no matatu would access the CBD.

Sonko has appeared on TV assuring residents that a solution will be found, while apologizing for the agony for commutters.

He has received a lot of backlash from people with frustrated Nairobians demanding a solution.

He has also said NYS buses will be deployed for physically disadvantaged Kenyans. He has assured Kenyans the situation will improve.

Senator Johnson Sakaja has moved to court to file a petition against the ban of matatus from the Central Business District.

Through Mwenje and Karanja advocates, he wants the suspension of the order to be based on lack of public participation.

The petition further states that the legal notice is unreasonable and unfair.

Read the notice from the county government.

Pictures have been seen all over social media showing how bad the situation is in some areas.

Do you agree with KOT that the ban was not well thought out? Drop your comments below;
