Video: Conjestina Ochieng shows impressive progress on her road to recovery

Veteran female boxer, Conjestina Achieng is showing remarkable progress since she was checked into a rehabilitation centre late last year by Nairobi governor, Mike Sonko.

Sonko airlifted Conjestina to Nairobi for treatment following a public outcry. The governor promised the boxer employment after her rehabilitation.

Conjestina was diagnosed with a psychiatric condition which has seen her on and off hospital for a while.

In the video below, the former WIBF Middleweight world champion is seen enjoying herself, shadow boxing with a male friend, somewhere believed to be in the coastal region.

The early results are very encouraging and we hope and pray that our champion will recover fully and get back on track.
