'Stand true to your calling...' Ruto's first born son, Nick, makes his father proud!

Deputy President William Ruto just graduated with a doctorate in plant ecology from the University of Nairobi, after six years of study.

His thesis was titled “Influence of human activities on land use changes on environmental quality of riparian ecosystems: A case study of Saiwa Swamp watershed, Western Kenya”.

Graduating was not easy because in 2016, Ruto failed to graduate because he had not met all the coursework requirements. The DP has a Bachelor’s degree in botany and zoology and a Master’s degree in plant ecology.

But the struggle was over. He finally graduated in December 2018.

The DP now has the distinguished title or Dr. before his name. Guys, meet Dr William Ruto.

Anyhow, his son is following closely in his steps.

Nick Ruto was admitted to the bar. His proud dad tweeted about his achievement.

"Hearty congratulations Nick Ruto for being admitted to the Bar. As you begin a career in the legal profession, may you stand true to your calling as a defender of justice, human rights and an avid campaigner for equality and truth."
