Former Nairobi Governor Evans Kidero has been arrested by the EACC together with his former chief of staff George Wanaina over illegal payments to a law firm.
The EACC has been investigating for a while about the allegations over irregular payment made to Wachira Mburu, Mwangi and Company advocates purporting that it was irregular fees.
According to the Director of Public Prosecution(DPP), the suspects will be charged with among others, conspiracy to commit an offence of corruption, abuse of office and money laundering.
