KPL top scorer Allan Wanga excluded from AFCON Squad

Kenyan Premier League top scorer Allan Wanga, Brian Bwire and Whyvonne Isuza have been surprisingly dropped from African Cup Of Nations' squad that leaves for residential training in France tomorrow.

Migne has retained majority of the squad that he used in the qualifiers, led by Captain Victor Wanyama who will link up with them in Paris. Among the new faces included is uncapped Christopher Mbamba, Cliff Miheso, Joseph Okumu and under 23 striker John Avire.

The team had breakfast at Statehouse where the president Uhuru Kenyatta handed them the flag. Stars will play two friendly matches against Madagascar and DR Congo in France before departing for Cairo on the 19th.
