Oliech scores as Ajaccio stroll past Nancy

Former Harambee Stars captain Dennis Oliech was on the score sheet as AC Ajaccio beat AS Nancy Lorraine 2-0 in a French Ligue 2 match played on Friday night.

Ajaccio grabbed the opener in third minute through Nicolas Fauvergue before Oliech struck the second home in 30th minute. The vital win pushed Ajaccio to fifth on the log after amassing 20 points and they face Paris St. German on Tuesday night in Coupe De La Ligue.

Speaking after the match, Oliech was elated to have helped his side to another crucial win. “We wanted maximum points and it was crucial that we get a win. I thank God that we played well and managed to win,” he told club’s official website.
