After losing in the Bowl and Plate finals during the Port Elizabeth Sevens and Wellington Sevens respectively, the Kenya Sevens team finally got to own the podium at the Las Vegas Sevens following a 24-21 victory over Argentina in the Bowl Final.

The win saw Kenya complete revenge over the Argentines who had defeated them 19-14 during the Group Stages.

Kenya was relegated to the bowl final after winning one (22-211 over Canada) and losing two (against Argentina and 14-21 against England).

However Kenya made no mistake in the bowl and stroll all the way to glory by defeating Portugal (17-7 in the quarters), Samoa (19-5 in the semis) and Argentina in the finals.

Winning the Bowl has seen Kenya amass 8 points and will be high on confidence when they take to the pitch again during the Hong Kong which will be played at the end of March.

The Las Vegas was won by a young Fiji who defeated New Zealand 35-19 in the final. South Africa finished third after defeating USA 31-0 in the third-place playoff.
