Tusker FC coach Francis Kimanzi was walking a tight rope after picking just 22 points in fifteen matches and his activity in the June transfer window pointed towards his team's poor run of form continuing in the second leg after he axed some experienced players.

However, it seems that the KNVB-trained knew what he was doing as he led his team to four victories and one draw since the start of the second leg.

Radio Jambo presenters Toldo Kuria and Diamond Okusimba called him on Monday during their show to get his view on his team's turnaround as well as share with listeners reasons why he felt his team was not performing well in the first leg.

Kimanzi also talked about the form of his captain and striker, Jesse Were, who has scored a hat-trick in his last three league matches.

The telephone interview can be listened to in the clip shared below.
