Kenya faces Guinea-Bissau on Wednesday night in a crucial AFCON 2017 qualifier.

A win will revive Kenya's hopes of appearing at the continent's greatest football showpiece for the first time since 2004.

Kenya and Guinea-Bissau are tied at the bottom of Group E, with one point from two matches, but Harambee Stars is ranked higher on goal difference.

Congo-Brazzaville and Zambia lead the group with 4 points, but Chipolopolo are ranked second due to an inferior goal difference.

Leaders from the 13 qualifier groups and the two best second-placed teams will qualify for the tournament. Gabon have already qualified as hosts.

With that, Harambee Stars have to get six points from Guinea-Bissau and results against Zambia and Congo-Brazzaville to assure themselves of a top spot.

Kenya drew 1-1 away to Congo-Brazzaville in June last year, before losing 2-1 at home to Zambia in September.
