SHOCKING! Cameroon International Samuel Nlend Sacked By Egyptian Club For Testing HIV+

Just less than a week after signing for Egyptian Premier League club Al Ittihad, 21-year-old Samuel Nlend has had his contract terminated by his new club after testing positive for AIDS. Would you believe that?.

According to 101greatgoals, Egyptian news outlet reported that a media representative of the club confirmed the sad news to the press.

The young forward has been capped five times by Cameroon, scoring in January’s African Cup of Nations competition before securing a summer move to Al Ittihad.

Samuel Nlend signed a three year contract with Al Ittihad on the 24th August. Not quite a brilliant show of support from his new Egyptian club.

There are no rules against playing football with the condition but it’s unlikely Nlend would be able to get a work permit in another country.
