Chelsea Star Willian Pens moving Message To His Mom Ailing With Cancer

Chelsea and Brazil winger Willian has made a shocking revelation via social media. The 28-year-old posted a picture on Instagram, which shows his mother lying on a hospital bed and opened up about her battle with cancer, which has been going on for the last two-and-a-half years.

Willian was a second half substitute in both of Brazil's World Cup qualifying victories over Ecuador and Colombia, but should be back in London by now.

Before flying back, the player visited his mum at the hospital, and posted a heartwarming message along with the picture.

Sad indeed, yet from the way he plays, you would never know the attacker has been going through such emotional distress for the majority of his Blues career.

Let's hope that all does go well for the player and his mum.

Chelsea’s next game is on Sunday, away at Swansea in the Premier League.
