Kenyan international Michael Olunga has signed for chinese outfit Guizhou Zhicheng.

Olunga who was previously linked with Russian giants, CSKA Moscow spent last season at Swedish outfit, Djurgårdens IF where he finished as the club's joint top scorer with 12 goals after switching from Kenyan giants, Gor Mahia.

The towering forward was signed alongside Egypt international, Aly Ghazal.

“Guizhou Zhicheng FC hope the two African players will integrate with the team as soon as possible and show their mettle, intrepidity and fighting spirit to the team,” read the club statement.

The newly promoted CSL outfit said the Egypt international and Nacional captain Ghazal along with Kenyan star striker Olunga, will join their new team-mates in South Korea where the club set up a pre-season training camp.

Early this week, Olunga’s agent Patrick Dark confirmed interest from China, but he neither admitted nor denied that Olunga is open to the idea of moving to the CSL before the Chinese transfer deadline at the end of February.

Olunga left Gor Mahia for Sweden one year ago and penned a four year contract with IF Djurgarden.
