AFC Leopards Suffer Defeat As Champions Tusker FC Share Spoils With Sofapaka

Kenya Premier League champions Tusker yesterday settled for a two all draw with Sofapaka in a Kenyan Premier League match.

Pate Wanok and Moses Odhiambo were on target for Sofapaka with Tusker getting their goals through Allan Wanga and Michael Khamati.

Elsewhere, AFC Leopards suffered their first defeat of the season after losing two nil against Chemelil Sugar. Kariobangi Sharks beat Nzoia Sugar 2-0, while Posta Rangers were one nil winners over Western Stima.

On Saturday, Gor Mahia bounced back to winning ways with a one nil win over Kakamega Homeboyz. Meddie Kagere scored Kogalo’s lone goal in the second half to earn kogalo their third league win this season.

Other matches saw Mathare united and Muhoroni Youth settle for a barren draw while Nakumatt and Sony Sugar also settled for a barren draw.

In the National Super League, Eldoret based GFE 105 are back to the top of the NSL despite settling for a barren draw with Bidco United. In the other matches played yesterday, Vihiga United registered their third straight win of the season with a 2-1 win over Agro Chemicals while Kibera Black Stars settled for a barren draw with Palos FC.

Nakuru All Stars beat Mosca 4-1.

Saturday results saw KCB beat Talanta in a match played at Karuturi Grounds. Brian Yator scored both goals for the Bankers. In the other match played at the same ground Kenya Police and Nairobi City Stars settled for a barren draw. Elsewhere Modern Coast Rangers lost one nil to Administration Police while Isbania were 4-3 winners over St. Joseph Youth.
