Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has told Borussia Dortmund he wants to leave the club this summer, with a queue of clubs interested in signing the Bundesliga's top scorer.

The Gabon international has been considering his future at the club, with German newspaper Bild now reporting his desire to leave the Westfalenstadion.

Aubameyang is said to have informed Dortmund chief executive Hans-Joachim Watzke of his decision on Monday, despite still having three years remaining on his contract.

There is likely to be a queue of suitors should the 27-year-old move on, with French giants Pairs Saint-Germain, Italians AC Milan and clubs in the Chinese Super League said to be interested.

Tianjin Quanjian have reportedly offered a deal worth close to £75million for Aubameyang, with a wage packet which would see the striker earn more than £22million a year, at £430,000 a week.

The club, managed by Fabio Cannavaro, were deliberately evasive when addressing the potential transfer recently.

'Basically, a decision on which player we are going to buy in the summer has been made. And we have secured a verbal agreement with the player as well as his club,' chairman Shu Yuhui said.

'We have not signed a formal contract yet, and I will not reveal the player's name during the sensitive period.

'The club have once got the short end of the stick after our transfer target was exposed ahead of time. So we won't say his name.'

A host of the Premier League's leading clubs, most notably Manchester United, have also shown an interest, but the Red Devils have now focused on Antoine Griezmann, Andrea Belotti and Romelu Lukaku this summer.
