Six bodies retrieved in Lamu boat tragedy

A total of Six bodies  have been  retrieved  from the Indian ocean  following last night boat tragedy  in  in Lamu

Coast regional police boss Larry Kieng says  two people among  them a local politician Shekue  Kahale  and the captain of the boat  were rescued alive.

The boat was ferrying 11 family members from Kizingitin to Lamu  county  when the boat capsized.

Kahale was accompanied  family members including his wife, their two children, his sister and her three children as they headed to Manda airport.
